Purpose

These terms govern the use of Simulateur Assurance Auto (https://simulateur-assurance-auto.be), published by MentionBox SRL, a limited liability company under Belgian law (BE 0784.700.405), with its registered office at Rue Blanche-Eau 15, 6950 Nassogne, Belgium. Browsing the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

What the site does

Simulateur Assurance Auto publishes guides, comparisons and a premium simulator to help Belgian drivers understand the car insurance market. Access is free and requires no sign-up.

What the site does not do

Three limits, worth reading before you use the simulator:

• MentionBox SRL sells no insurance, carries out no brokerage or insurance distribution activity, and receives no commission from the insurers mentioned.
• The site gives no personalised advice in the regulatory sense. For a policy matched to your situation, speak to an insurer or an authorised broker.
• Insurer brands mentioned (AG, Ethias, KBC, Belfius, P&V, Corona Direct and others) belong to their owners. None of them is a partner of this site.

What the estimates are worth

The simulator returns an order of magnitude, computed from the parameters you enter and from market averages. It is not a quote, not an offer, and not a contractual commitment. The real premium is set by the insurer, which takes into account facts the site does not know (claims history, bonus-malus record, specific policy conditions). A gap between the estimate and a company’s quote is normal. Always read the policy’s general conditions before signing: that is where the exclusions live.

Intellectual property

Text, visuals, graphics, logo and code belong to MentionBox SRL, unless stated otherwise. You may quote an excerpt if you credit the source and link to the page. Full reproduction, republication or adaptation requires prior written authorisation.

Liability

Content is checked at the date of publication, but insurers change their prices and their cover. MentionBox SRL does not guarantee that the information is accurate or current at all times, and is not liable for decisions taken on that basis alone. The site may be unavailable during maintenance or a technical incident.
